What we do
MedySoft is a subscription service for retail chemists and pharmaceutical distributors in India. It runs the counter, the stock room and the books in one place: batch-wise billing with expiry tracking, purchase and supplier ledgers, the statutory drug registers, GST returns, and accounting that reconciles against the day book without anything being keyed twice.
The software is delivered over the internet and used in a web browser, with desktop and mobile applications for the same account. It keeps billing during an internet outage and syncs when the connection returns.
Why we built it
Most pharmacy software in India was written for a machine under the counter and has stayed there — one shop, one computer, a backup on a pen drive, and a licence that has to be reinstalled when the machine dies. Shops that have run on it for years know it well and are held back by it.
MedySoft keeps what those shops rely on — the same bill layout, the same keyboard flow, the same registers an inspector asks for — and moves it to something that is backed up continuously, reachable from more than one counter, and updated without anyone visiting the shop. A pharmacy leaving its old software can bring its history with it rather than starting from an empty screen.
Who it is for
Single-counter chemists, multi-branch pharmacy chains, and distributors billing to trade. The plans differ mainly in how many stores and users an account covers, and whether it includes distributor billing, accounting and the Tally hand-off.
