MedySoft is a single subscription service. Everything below is part of the software; which parts an account includes depends on its plan.
Counter billing
Batch-wise billing with expiry, part strips, free and scheme quantities, split payments, and several customers parked at one counter at once. Cash and credit bills are numbered as separate books. Bills print in the A5 layout Indian chemists use, on A5 or on half an A4 sheet.
Stock, batches and expiry
Stock moves first-expiry-first-out on its own. Live expiry watch, shortage and reorder lists, rack locations, stock adjustments, transfers between stores and physical stock audits.
Purchase and suppliers
Goods inward against a supplier invoice, purchase returns and debit notes, supplier ledgers and ageing, purchase orders, and a purchase register split by cash and credit.
GST and statutory compliance
GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B workings, sales and purchase tax registers, HSN annexure, and the Schedule H1, X, narcotic and TB registers filled as you bill with the prescriber on record.
Accounting
Every bill, purchase, receipt and payment posts a balanced double-entry voucher. Ledgers, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, debtor and creditor statements, credit and debit notes, and cheque tracking including post-dated cheques.
Customers and CRM
Customer ledgers and credit limits, loyalty points, refill reminders for chronic patients, birthdays and follow-up lists, and party-wise pricing with rate tiers and company-wise discounts.
Reports
Sales and profit analysis by day, party, company, salesman and product, movement and non-moving stock, day book, monthly summary, and Excel export throughout.
Data migration
A shop moving from existing pharmacy software can bring across its products, parties, stock, bills, purchases and receipts rather than starting from an empty screen.
Works offline, syncs after
Billing continues through an internet outage on the device at the counter, and everything syncs the moment the connection returns. Nothing is lost and nothing is billed twice.
Tally hand-off
Vouchers export in Tally's own XML import format, or as a delimited text file for older importers, for any date range and any set of voucher types.
How it is delivered
MedySoft is software as a service. There is nothing to install to get started — it runs in a web browser on any computer, tablet or phone, and desktop and Android applications are available for the same account. Updates are applied centrally and included in the subscription; nobody needs to visit the shop.
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure and backed up continuously. Each pharmacy’s data is separated from every other pharmacy’s and is only reachable by users that pharmacy has invited.
What is not included
MedySoft does not sell, supply or dispense medicines, and is not a pharmacy. It does not provide medical advice. Hardware — computers, printers, barcode scanners — is not supplied. Statutory filings remain the pharmacy’s own responsibility; the software prepares the workings and the registers behind them.
