Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of MedySoft. By creating an account or using the software, you agree to them.

Last updated 31 August 2026

1. Who these terms are between

“We”, “us” and “MedySoft” mean MedySoft, of 12, Gulmohar Regal Homes, Wanowrie Road, Pune 411040, Maharashtra, India. “You” means the pharmacy, distributor or business that holds the account, and anyone you invite to use it.

2. The service

MedySoft is subscription software delivered over the internet for running a pharmacy or pharmaceutical distribution business. What it does is described on the products and services page. We may add, change or withdraw individual features; if a change materially reduces what your plan does, we will tell you before it takes effect.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract, and the business must hold whatever licences its trade requires.
  • The details you register must be accurate and kept up to date — they appear on the documents the software produces.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything done by users you invite. Keep passwords private and remove users who leave.
  • Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone who should not have it.

4. Fees and payment

Charges are those published on the pricing page for the plan you choose, plus GST. A subscription renews automatically for the same period until cancelled. If a payment fails we may retry it and, if it continues to fail, suspend the account until it is settled.

We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice. A change never applies to a period already paid for.

5. Your data

  • Your business data — your products, parties, bills, purchases and books — remains yours. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to advertise to you or anyone else.
  • We process it to run the service for you: storing it, backing it up, and producing the documents and reports you ask for.
  • You can export your data at any time while the account is live, and for 30 days after it closes.
  • How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use MedySoft to:

  • break any law, including the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, GST law and the rules on selling scheduled drugs
  • record sales that did not happen, or alter records to misstate what did
  • attempt to reach another customer’s data, or to probe, scan or overload the service
  • resell or rebrand the software as your own without a written agreement with us

The software keeps a record of who did what. That record exists so a business can answer for its own books; it is not a substitute for supervising your staff.

7. Compliance remains yours

MedySoft prepares registers, returns and workings from what you enter. It does not file anything on your behalf and does not verify that what you entered is correct. Statutory obligations — licensing, record keeping, GST filing, drug scheduling — remain yours. Nothing in the software is legal, tax, accounting or medical advice.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service running continuously and to give notice of planned maintenance. We do not promise it will never be unavailable. The software is built to keep billing at the counter through an internet outage and to sync afterwards, which limits what an outage costs you, but it cannot remove the risk entirely.

9. Ending the agreement

You may cancel at any time — see the cancellation policy. We may suspend or end an account for non-payment, or for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, after telling you what the problem is and giving you a fair chance to put it right, unless the breach is such that we cannot reasonably wait.

When an account closes, your data stays available for export for 30 days and is then deleted from live systems, with backups ageing out on their normal cycle.

10. Liability

Neither of us excludes liability for anything that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of the service in any twelve month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping your own copies of anything you are legally required to retain.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Where a change is material we will tell you before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept it. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
